StratCom Moldova has published a Guide for teachers on integrating national values
into the teaching process. Developed in partnership with representatives of
academia, the guide provides a set of practical exercises that can be used across
core subjects at all levels of education: primary, lower secondary and upper
secondary.
School is more than a place where children learn formulas, definitions or historical
facts. It is also a space where they discover their individuality, develop a sense of
direction and learn to understand the values that connect them to the groups they
belong to, their community and their country.
The initiative responds to a need identified by the teachers, and namely to integrate
national values into the educational process in a meaningful and relevant way, in the
context of the subjects they teach, without placing an additional burden on the school
curriculum.
